I have the standard Hesacore (white) on my old paddle. I decided to try the gel (blue) on my new paddle. I can't say that I can really tell a difference between them, but I can't imagine using a paddle without Hesacore. I really like the grip and tactile feel for where the paddle is in my hand. I also like that it makes the grip slightly larger in diameter for my hand size.
I like the Hesacore Pickleball Tour Grip - Gel and the Ventura Pickleball shop! Carlos threw in a free wrap and installation of both! The grip helps me hold my paddle with less force and helps me avoid pickleball elbow. I did need to get used to having am the ball a little higher over the net to avoid getting the ball into the net, but once I did, my game improved :-)
